My Story.

I grew up in Loveland, CO and after high school, attended Ft. Lewis College In Durango, CO. After a year, I wanted to experience more than just Colorado as I knew I would end up back here eventually to set my roots. I attended Hawaii Pacific University on a soccer scholarship, earning my double major Bachelor’s Degree in Travel Industry Management and Marketing.

Upon graduation, the inevitable “island fever” hit me, and my job in the tourism industry took me on a couple 2 year stints in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It was living in Las Vegas when I caught the real estate bug. I was helping a friend who owned a business cleaning out foreclosed homes for the banks so that they could be auctioned off.

I wanted to make a difference.

It was shockingly sad seeing all of these great homes just left, vacant, many of them with pictures and personal possessions still in the house. I started to research and realize that many of these people were conned into these homes with predatory pricing and lending.

Were these people using an agent?! If so, what they hell were they thinking?! It’s this period in time that real estate agents got a bad rap; not caring about the client and only in it for a quick sale and commission. It’s SOO important to get to know your client and understand their needs and limits.
